Ease of use.

It's grease in a tub, what more do you want? No mess or fuss getting the grease out and putting it where you want. The grease itself should be fine for metal to metal contact in order to avoid corrosion but it seems a little thin so if you're servicing bearings then I'd consider something a little more viscous because this stuff may breakdown quicker over time.
