Minimalist spine protection

"Fits well, not as hot as other spine protectors. I do wish the protection extended through the lumbar spine but it is still a great option when I don’t want to wear my full protection. I usually use it without the shoulder protection."

"I bought this for trail riding, not downhill. The protection is good and all pads except the chest are removeable. The fit is only slightly small. However, the fabric is somewhat heavy and maybe too hot to wear on warmer days."

"I have not "used it" in that I can't confirm it will prevent injuries, but I can share that this bit of kit is a nice insurance policy against avoidable injuries. It's about as lightweight as a second jersey can be, and as a guy who uses on-bike bottles for most rides, I like the back protector is there for camelbackless days. Fit is good, pairs will with the other 7Idp stuffs, protection need not be overthought, this is a great, durable solution."

Awesome , comfortable spine and shoulder protection

"I recently had a bad wreck and separated my shoulder but worse I broke two ribs in my back. The doctor told me if I had landed 2 inches farther over I could have been looking at a broken vertebrae. So not wanting that As I have been recovering I have been looking to protect my spine as I ride. After trying on several types this was the most comfortable and had the best shoulder protection. The shirt is well made and the pockets are a welcome bonus."
