Pearl Izumi Bioviz Barrier Cycling Jacket - Black-Relective Triad - 2020

 

The print on the front, back and sleeves of this wind jacket is made up of reflective elements that pass Pearl Izumi's strict BioViz® standards, as are the logos and a strip along the rear hem. The jacket features one zippered pocket in the rear, big enough to carry necessities.

  • Ripstop polyester fabric made from 100% recycled material, with durable water-repellent finish
  • Large front, side and rear BioViz® reflective print for maximum 360-degree low-light visibility
  • Two-way zipper allows ventilation from top or bottom
  • Silicone rear gripper to hold jacket in-place while in riding position
  • Dual side hem cord locks to adjust fit at waist

"This is a really great windbreaker. Just a smidge thicker than the thinnest ones I’ve had, but not bulky. Can still stuff into a waist pack. Windproof but not a sauna. Seems true to size- for skinny cyclists. I wear large shirts but I’m a little thicker in the chest and shoulders than I think cycling designers are thinking of, so I ordered an XL. Right call- It’s roomy but not loose, and it doesn’t bind in the shoulder blades when I lean forward. My new favorite windbreaker just to wear around."
